Review

This little bread maker boasts similar features to much larger, and more expensive bread makers. I have a small kitchen so counter space, and storage, are at a premium.
It has a nice little feature where it will beep at you when it is the right time to add mix-ins to your bread, as well as another beep to let you know the bake cycle is about to start, allowing you to remove the mixing paddle if you’d like.
The instructions book that comes with the maker comes with a pretty good list of recipes to get you started, and even has a decent ’troubleshooting’ section with common issues people may have when trying to make bread.
I’ve mostly been baking whole wheat bread with the bread maker, generally a 2 pound loaf with incredibly consistent results. This loaf takes about 4 hours from ingredients in to finish. Looking at the instruction book you can expect similar results. 3½ - 4 hours seems to be a pretty consistent run time no matter the loaf.

While I would say I am overall happy with the bread maker it does have its issues.
The machine has a nasty habit of walking a bit. It’s never walked as far as to fall off the counter but it definitely moves. I think since the footprint of the bread maker is small the height makes it prone to some sideways movements that make it prone to movement.
I also have an issue with the window on the bread maker being less that usable until about halfway through the bake time. The windows fogs up until it gets about halfway through the bake cycle making it so I can’t see anything well without having to open up the lid and letting out the heat.
If the window was actually usable most of the time this would be a feature in the positive column, but since it isn’t it mostly comes out as a useless feature.

Score

With a mostly good set of features and very few complaints I think the Cuisinart CBK 110P1 is a solid purchase.
Especially for anyone who also deals with limited space availability.
